Mbappé’s “muscular” response

No words, no caption, but a symbolic photo. At the heart of the debates in recent days, Kylian Mbappé has just posted on Instagram a photo of himself, pumping up his biceps, in a gym.

Charvet on Mbappé: “He wasn’t such an ideal son-in-law”

In the Grandes Gueules du Sport this Saturday on RMC, Denis Charvet reacted to Kylian Mbappé’s Swedish escapade. Without seeking to overwhelm the captain of the French team.

“We haven’t lost him,” he assured. “But we took him for the ideal son-in-law, he sold us this image and we were wrong. We didn’t know his true personality. He wasn’t such an ideal son-in-law. We’re really discovering him. In fact, he’s like us. He’s 25, he drinks. For me, this outing (in Sweden) is anecdotal. What’s shocking is the timing. It’s the symbolism that kills the story. He was clumsy, but we haven’t lost the footballer Mbappé. (…) He’ll come back. He’s a great champion. The only thing that worries me is his character, he’s an individualist. (…) He’s going to have to be good.”

“He has a lot of maturity. He started very young. He has already experienced everything at 25. If it’s happening like this now, it’s because he wants to live, that everything is too heavy and he needs to breathe. He’s only a man. It’s complicated to endure all that,” added David Douillet in the GG.

Rothen’s huge rant about Mbappé’s trip to Sweden

After Kylian Mbappé’s escapade to Stockholm while the French team was facing Israel on Thursday evening, Jérome Rothen asked Didier Deschamps to remove the captain’s armband from the Blues striker, Friday evening in Rothen s’enflamme, on RMC.

“There is nothing that shocks me anymore,” he assured. “The only problem is that the player, Kylian Mbappé, but he is not the only one in this case, feels untouchable, above everything. They have no reflection.”

Mbappé, the details of a disturbing Swedish escapade

Not called up by Didier Deschamps for the October training camp and left at Real Madrid’s disposal, Kylian Mbappé spent Thursday evening in Stockholm (Sweden) while the French team faced Israel in Budapest (Hungary). If officially, this escapade is not a subject for the Blues, it can question the involvement of the French captain.

Israel-France: a win for the Blues, without being totally convincing

Serious and authoritarian in the first half, then sluggish after the break, the Blues accelerated at the end of the match to finally sign a large victory against Israel (4-1), Thursday, in the League of Nations. The substitutes scored points, like Mattéo Guendouzi.
